OK, you've all got blogs, so I'm creating one of my own, to sit, unvisited and unloved, like a forgotten grandparent, collecting dust in some home and, unnoticed... So now that I'm off on the right foot...

:: Beijing Trip ::

For the past 3years, it has been my family's dream to see snow falling from the sky.. and normally we only travel around Dec/Jan/Feb period.. as been said again for the past 3years we have failed to see snow.. Seriously! it's just damn hard..we always seems to miss it by a day or two. So, It's January again.. Another year, another trip to try our luck.. This time we're off to Beijing and these are just a tip of an iceberg on how it went.. ;)

Leaving KLIA...

At the first Light Tower of the Great Wall looking down

Ze Famous Mr.Panda of China

Just some beautiful scenery in the emperor's summer palace

WangFuJie.. supposedly ze Bkt.Bintang of Beijing

Our Hotel

Chinese Acrobats.. abuthen..

Freeezing cold outside of hotel!

Temp in the bus.. 2'celcius!!

Delicacies.. eww..

Yea.. they even have starfish..

Check out the windows.. all designs along this corridor is different..!

The 728-meter-long corridor runs from a moon gate in the east to Shizhang Pavilion in the west. All the 273 sections are decorated with more than 8,000 DIFFERENT paintings! of landscapes, flowers and human figures. It is the longest and most famous corridor in the world!

Some intricate designs/paintings on top of the ceiling along ze corridor.. mind you, it's all different paintings on this 728m corridor.. this is just one example..

At the end of this trip, we were almost 'frozenly numb-ed' by the weather but sad to say.. there isn't any snow.. FROM the sky.. there are frozen lakes, frozen rivers, frozen roads, frozen bottle of water, frozen BEER!, and not forgetting frozen cheeks and fingerzz.. but still no snow.. damnit!

Actually, in total on my own trusty "LX2" (see prev posts..).. I have taken around 455pictures.. but I just don't have much time to resize and upload all the picts.. well, i'll do it stage by stage later in my multiply.. but i'll start posting pics in this blog or else the cobwebs in here will not stop growing.. :)

:: makan makan ::

Thurs: Public Hols.. It's Thaipusam cum Federal Day.. (but we don't get two days off.. damnit!) tried out the latest craze by the Lam's kitchen, "Cheese Fondue".. It was our first time, got the recipes from the Internet and we bought all the ingredients (shitake mushrooms, bell pepper, foo chuk, beef and pork) from Village Grocers in Bangsar.
Head down to Lam's apartment in Pantai and what can I say.. a satisfying night filled with watering palates over the Swiss Guyere & Cheddar cheese fondue mix.. It was very yummy! I'm definately coming back for more!

Friday: D'sara Perdana@Tropics apartments.. Barbecue!! for Theresa's farewell from BNBC.. a very nice dinner as Joyce practically cooked everything when we arrived.. So we just eat!

Look at her cook-pit! This is probably the cleanest and neattest BBQ ever!!.. and almost every piece of meat is cook to perfection!.. With some zephyr accompany the night, I would consider this as the most enjoyable BBQ cookout by far..

Lovely food for the past two days.. can't wait for more!
