:: Beijing Trip ::
For the past 3years, it has been my family's dream to see snow falling from the sky.. and normally we only travel around Dec/Jan/Feb period.. as been said again for the past 3years we have failed to see snow.. Seriously! it's just damn hard..we always seems to miss it by a day or two. So, It's January again.. Another year, another trip to try our luck.. This time we're off to Beijing and these are just a tip of an iceberg on how it went.. ;)
The 728-meter-long corridor runs from a moon gate in the east to Shizhang Pavilion in the west. All the 273 sections are decorated with more than 8,000 DIFFERENT paintings! of landscapes, flowers and human figures. It is the longest and most famous corridor in the world!
Some intricate designs/paintings on top of the ceiling along ze corridor.. mind you, it's all different paintings on this 728m corridor.. this is just one example..
Check out this glass cat.. the colouring and desings.. its all done by hand!.. talk about workmanship!

At the end of this trip, we were almost 'frozenly numb-ed' by the weather but sad to say.. there isn't any snow.. FROM the sky.. there are frozen lakes, frozen rivers, frozen roads, frozen bottle of water, frozen BEER!, and not forgetting frozen cheeks and fingerzz.. but still no snow.. damnit!
Actually, in total on my own trusty "LX2" (see prev posts..).. I have taken around 455pictures.. but I just don't have much time to resize and upload all the picts.. well, i'll do it stage by stage later in my multiply.. but i'll start posting pics in this blog or else the cobwebs in here will not stop growing.. :)
